Tortoise Shell Dip Nails - A Classic Mani that’s Perfect for Autumn

Play button
Many cultures celebrate the tortoise for its patience, endurance, and longevity. We love that symbolism… and we also think tortoiseshell is just a really cool pattern! We invited a special guest to join us this week! We’ve teamed up with Chelsea from SipAndDip to bring to you this lovely tortoise inspired nail art. She creates lovely dip powder nail looks and shares on YouTube and Instagram.
PRO TIP: Make sure you thoroughly prep nails to ensure adhesion & long-lasting wear! Push back cuticles, create a rough texture on the nail plate by filing, and sanitize thoroughly.

Step 2
  • Apply a thin coat of Step 2 Base to the entire nail and immediately dip fingernail into color powder, here we are using JL08.
